What is the Explorer Program?
The Explorer Program is a career-oriented program through Learning for Life that gives young adults hands-on exposure to the fire service. Explorers learn firefighting techniques, emergency response protocols, and develop important life skills.
Our program meets regularly and includes classroom instruction, hands-on training, and opportunities to participate in community events alongside our volunteer firefighters.
Meeting Schedule
Contact us for current meeting times and locations. We typically meet twice a month with additional training opportunities.
Requirements
- Ages 14-21
- Good academic standing
- Pass background check (18+)
- Commitment to training schedule
- Parental consent (if under 18)
